Final Cover

It's been harder to choose a cover than I thought it would be. I never knew that I could be this indecisive. The cover for 'The Perfect Holiday' should be finalized in the first week of August.

On another note, my second book is coming along well. It's set to go to the editor the first week of September. I wish I had a title. I'm tired of calling it 'Book 2'.

Switching Gears

I'm going to put Book 4 down for a while and start editing Book 2. It needs a lot of work before it goes to the editor on Sept 1, so I think I'd better get crackin'.

Cover Design for 'A Perfect Holiday'

After looking through thousands of photos and clipart, and considering buying one of the pre-fab covers that are for sell on-line, I decided that I would never find exactly what I want, or what the book deserves. And I don't feel like I scrimped on anything to this point, so why should I start settling now. Well, I'm not. I hired a photographer. I think it'll be fun, watching it come together. I should be able to post it about a month from now.

Making Progress on 'A Perfect Holiday'

I'm on my second to the last edit. In between, it'll go to my editor and then one final review from a colleague. Then we'll see what happens. This is all new to me, so I can't imagine that it will roll on smoothly, but it's fun! This is my first blog ever by the way as I attempt to enter the social media world. Next time, I'll try a picture. Yeah!
